About this piece:
Overcoming fear and imagined limitations. Forgetting he can fly, one bird looks down, gauging the distance he might fall if his balance is lost. The other bird already knows there is no danger but watches, remembering how it feels to not know. Our lives hang by a gossamer thread but is fear of falling really necessary?
